Human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju has questioned why supporters of the Dangote Refinery Company are now silent despite the sharp increase in fuel pump price.
DAILY POST reports that fuel stations in Abuja have increased their petrol prices to N1,440, N1,430, and N1,370, respectively.
The development followed an announcement by the Dangote Refinery, increasing fuel price for the fourth time in March.
This development has negatively impacted transportation and other parts of the nation’s economy.
Reacting, Deji in a post on his official Facebook page wondered why some influencers supporting the Africa’s richest man suddenly went mute.
He wrote, “Fuel is 1450. Where are the influencers of Dangote who kept insulting me?”
