Transcorp Hotels Plc the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group), has posted a historic N97.04 billion revenue in the financial year 2025.
The Company, with a market capitalisation of N1.75 trillion, grew its revenue by 38 per cent compared to the same period in 2024, while gross profit increased by 50 per cent year-on-year.
According to the highlights of the results released by the company, on Friday, revenue increased 38 per cent year-on-year, from N70.13 billion (FY 2024) to N97,04 billion (FY 2025).
The result also reflected that performance was driven by robust demand in room bookings, conferencing, food and beverage services, and other ancillary offerings.
Further highlights showed that gross profit margin expanded to 77 per cent, from 71 per cent in FY 2024, driven by increased volumes, effective cost management, and operational efficiencies.
The company also increased operating profit to N35.24 billion, up 35 per cent from N26.03 billion in FY 2024, while profit before tax rose by 45 per cent to N32.82 billion, from N22.61 billion in FY 2024.
Profit After Tax rose by 47 per cent to N21.85 billion from N14.90 billion in FY 2024.
The result also showed that earnings per share was N2.14, up from N1.46 in FY 2024
The company’s financial highlights reflected the following key performance indicators:
Total Assets: N159.91 billion, representing a 14 per cent increase from N140.70 billion in FY 2024. This growth reflects substantial investments in physical facilities, supporting our future growth trajectory.
Total Equity: N95.23 billion, an 18 per cent increase from N80.52 billion in FY 2024, driven by strong operational performance and continued. commitment to reinvesting to enhance shareholder value, while maintaining the policy of rewarding our valued shareholders through regular dividend distributions.
