Security agencies have arrested several suspected bandits and kidnappers allegedly involved in criminal activities across Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.
The suspects were apprehended during coordinated security operations targeting criminal hideouts within the council area.
Authorities say investigations are ongoing and the suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of preliminary findings.

Chairman of Guma Local Government Council, Maurice Orwough, commended the security agencies for what he described as a decisive step towards reclaiming communities from criminal elements.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting security operatives through collaboration and logistics assistance, stressing that maintaining peace and stability in the area remains a top priority.
Authorities have assured residents that operations will continue as part of broader efforts to sustain law and order in the state.
