Officers of Oyo State Police command have rescued no fewer than four passengers who were recently abducted by kidnappers.
Public Relations Officer of the state Police command, Olayinka Ayanlade disclosed this on Friday, in a statement made available to DAILY POST in Ibadan.
The four people were abducted along the Igbeti/ Kishi road.
Ayanlade informed that all the abducted passengers have were rescued unhurt and have been united with their families.
He added that the command is making all efforts to ensure that the kidnappers are arrested and prosecuted.
He said, “The Oyo State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that four passengers abducted in the early hours of 5th March, 2026 along the Igbeti–Kishi Road have been successfully rescued following a swift and coordinated security response.
