PICTORIAL: Edo Governor Gifts Government House Workers Brand New SUVs

Edo State governor, Monday Okpebholo, has gifted three Government House staff with brand new Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) in recognition of their dedication, punctuality and exemplary service.

The governor disclosed this in a post shared on his official Facebook page on Friday morning, noting that the gesture was his way of appreciating the hard work and commitment of public servants who go above and beyond their duties.

According to Okpebholo, the decision to reward the staff came after observing their consistent diligence and integrity in service.

“Today, I decided to surprise some of our hardworking Government House staff and trust me, luck met preparation,” he wrote.

“I noticed how they come early, close late and never cut corners, so I pretended to delay just to see who would run away early. Thankfully, nobody missed their blessing.”

The governor explained that the rewards were meant to encourage other staff to remain committed to excellence in the discharge of their duties.

“I rewarded three outstanding staff with brand new SUVs because hard work must be seen and appreciated,” Okpebholo said.

“When you serve Edo State with discipline, commitment and integrity, someone is watching. Yes, even the Governor.”

He described the gesture as a “little way” of saying thank you to dedicated workers while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to recognizing and promoting excellence in public service.

“We are here to serve Edo people and excellence will always be rewarded. A New Edo Has Risen,” the governor added.
