Nigerian music star Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P and one half of the P-Square duo, has opened up about the hidden struggles behind his success in the music industry.

The Afrobeats singer shared a photo on his Instagram page showing himself asleep in the studio at about 3 a.m., revealing the sleepless nights and sacrifices that often go unnoticed behind the scenes.

According to the singer, the post was meant to highlight the reality of hard work and persistence, not just in music but in every life journey.

“My sound engineer/producer caught this moment without me knowing… 3 AM in the studio. Sacrifices most people don’t see,” he wrote.

Peter explained that moments like these represent the dedication required to achieve success, stressing that many people only see the results without understanding the effort that goes into the process.

The singer, who is the twin brother of Paul Okoye, encouraged his followers to remain committed to their goals and trust the process, noting that genuine effort eventually pays off.

He also hinted that fans would better understand the hard work behind the scenes when his forthcoming album is released.

“But this is not just about music… It’s about every journey in life. The sleepless nights. The unseen grind. Trust the process; every real hustle will surely pay off.” He added.
