PDP Crisis: Calling fellow politician vagabond uncalled for – Dan Ulasi

Published:

Former Chairman of the Anambra State People’s Democratic Party, Dan Ulasi, has spoken against name calling among party members as the crisis rocking the PDP continues.

Speaking during an interview on Arise Television monitored by DAILY POST on Thursday, Ulasi, said it was not necessary to call a political colleague a vagabond.

DAILY POST recalls that Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, had a few days ago claimed that there was no more a vagabond in the PDP.

The statement is said to have sparked reactions from various quarters of the country.

Ulasi, who warned that such a language was out of control, said, “The Oyo State governor calling Nyesom Wike a vagabond is uncalled for; such language shouldn’t be used for a political colleague.

“I’m saddened that the skirmishes in the PDP have gotten out of control. Democracy depends on civility, and it appears that’s been lost.”

According to him, the Wike faction did not go to the Ibadan court, yet the Turaki and Makinde faction lost.

He stressed that as of now, there is only one PDP led by Abdulrahman Mohammed as National Chairman and Sam Anyanwu as National Secretary.
