Ogbomoso APC Stakeholders Rally Behind Tinubu, Pledge To Reclaim Oyo In 2027

All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Ogbomoso land have staged a major rally to reaffirm their support for President Bola Tinubu and intensify mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general election, vowing to reclaim Oyo State from opposition parties.

The event, held in Ogbomoso on Monday, drew party leaders, elected officials, former officeholders, and grassroots mobilisers, highlighting renewed unity and strategic alignment within the Ogbomoso APC.

Organised by the Renewed Hope Ambassadors led by Senator Teslim Folarin, the rally was part of a wider plan to tour Oyo State’s seven geopolitical zones and 14 federal constituencies to galvanise grassroots support for the APC.

Among those in attendance were Senators Sarafadeen Alli, Yunus Akintunde, Ayoade Adeseun, and Abdulfatai Buhari; Hon. Sunday Dare; former and aspiring governorship candidates including Chief Adebayo Adelabu and Prince Kayode Oyewumi; former Speaker Hon. Asimiyu Alarape; former Oyo State APC Chairman Chief Akin Oke; and other prominent stakeholders.

In his welcome address, Hon. Segun Dokun Odebunmi described Ogbomoso as a traditional APC stronghold and assured party faithful that the zone was fully mobilised. “Ogbomoso will deliver massively for the APC,” he declared, adding that stakeholders were firmly behind President Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda.

Oyo State APC chairman, Alhaji Olayide Abass, also commended members’ loyalty and organisational strength, stressing the importance of unity and strong grassroots structures.

Delivering the keynote address, Senator Teslim Folarin urged party members to educate others about the quality of leadership offered by President Tinubu. “Our mission here today is to tell the whole world that APC in Oyo State is fully ready to key into the Renewed Hope Agenda. The spirit of love and togetherness prevailing in our party will be sustained. At the appropriate time, we will move to the nooks and crannies of the state to mobilise voters, and 2027 will be a total victory for the APC,” he said.

Former Oyo State First Lady, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, encouraged members to promote unity, describing the APC as the state’s only formidable political party.

Chief Akin Oke also urged leaders to work together, saying, “Eight years in opposition is enough; we must return to the Government House in Oyo State.”

Senator Ayoade Adeseun assured that Ogbomoso would deliver overwhelming support for the APC in 2027.

The rally culminated in the formal endorsement of President Tinubu for a second term and the reception of hundreds of defectors from other parties into the APC, drawn from Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, Oriire, Ogo-Oluwa, and Surulere local government areas.
