Osun United Chairman, Gbenga Ololade Oriowo, has assured of an improved performance from his team in the second stanza of the season.
The Omoluabi Giants recorded two wins, two draws and five defeats in nine matches in the first round.
Osun United currently occupy ninth position on the NNL Conference B table with eight points.
They were held to a 2-2 draw by Godswill Akpabio FC in their last match in Osogbo.
Oriowo apologises to the club’s supporters for the poor display of the team.
“The league is still on, and we’ll come back smoking in the second round,” Oriowo told Osun United’s media.
“We will analyse every moments and take stocks, in fact, the coming days would be interesting with necessary shake up, we are sorry for the messy position and we will respond.”
