Akwa United head coach Paul Offor has insisted that his team will bounce back from the defeat to Stormers SC.
The Promise Keepers suffered a 3-1 defeat to Stormers SC in a Nigeria National League, NNL, matchday 11 fixture at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena on Sunday.
The loss was their first in the second stanza.
Offor said that the players need to encouraged and motivated ahead of their next game.
“We have to take the positives and will certainly work to ensure we bounce back to winning ways as quickly as possible,” Offor stated in a chat with the club’s media.
“The task at hand is to put this defeat behind us and do our best to encourage and motivate the boys to focus on the remaining matches and work towards achieving our objective at the end of the season.”
Akwa United will be up against First Bank FC in Uyo this weekend.
