Digital Skills for Corps Members: NITDA and GetBundi Launch Phase 2 Training

Published:

Good news for Nigerian youth! The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and GetBundi Education Technology have kicked off Phase 2 of their digital skills training for NYSC members. This initiative is a major step towards Nigeria’s goal of achieving 70% digital literacy by 2027.

This phase focuses on highly sought-after skills: Graphics, Digital Marketing, and Cybersecurity. It’s all part of NITDA’s ambitious “Digital Literacy for All Initiative (DL4ALL).”

The collaboration between NITDA and GetBundi began last year, with GetBundi developing the digital literacy framework and even training a pilot group of corps members. These “Digital Literacy Champions” then became NITDA ambassadors, sharing their knowledge in their places of assignment.

Now, as a testament to their support for DL4ALL, NITDA and GetBundi are equipping these corps members with three essential skill sets designed to make them instantly employable. This partnership is a clear investment in the future workforce of Nigeria.
