GHOST TOWN! Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Deserted As Elections Bring City to a Standstill!

The Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and several roads in the Alausa-Secretariat area of Lagos State were notably deserted on Saturday morning as the state held its local government elections. Our correspondent, who traveled the expressway through to the Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja, observed that the roads were unusually quiet. The Lagos police had previously announced movement restrictions across the state and pledged to ensure a peaceful poll on Saturday.
