Knorr, a seasoning brand under Unilever Nigeria Plc, has kicked off its annual “Share the Good” campaign across markets and communities nationwide as part of its festive season outreach.
The campaign, which targets 30 communities and 21 markets, has so far been carried out in Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Ibadan, Akure and Benin City. Markets covered include Ochanja and Onitsha Main Market in Anambra, Ogbete and Ekeonuwa Markets in Enugu, Eke Uku/Relief Market in Imo, as well as Agbeni, Oja Oba, Shasha, New Benin, and Mission Road markets in the South-West and South-South regions.
Activities at the various locations included cultural performances, the distribution of jollof meals, raffle draws and cooking competitions involving market women. Participants won branded items, including cooking pot sets, microwaves, gas cookers, and other household essentials.
According to Unilever Nigeria, the campaign is designed to promote togetherness, encourage the sharing of meals and recognise the role of market traders and local communities in food distribution.
Speaking on the initiative, Dami Dania, Food Demand Creation Lead at Unilever Nigeria Plc, said the campaign reflects Knorr’s commitment to using food as a tool for connection and community engagement, especially during the festive season.
The company said the campaign will continue in Port Harcourt, Delta, Abia, and Lagos states as it works toward completing its nationwide coverage before the end of the festive period.
