Hajiya Aisha Mamma, the mother of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has died.
Hajia Aisha, also known as Hajja Mamma, died on Monday morning and was aged 86.
Beside the NSA, the deceased was also the mother to Emir of Fufore in Adamawa State, HRH Sani Ribadu.
Among the first to pay their respects to the bereaved family was Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani).
Senator Binani, while condoling the Ribadu family, described the deceased as a “mother to all,” whose wisdom and prayers provided a shield not just for her children but for the entire community.
“We have lost a pillar of strength,” Senator Binani remarked during her condolence visit. “Her life was a testament to the virtues of patience, humility, and devotion. While we grieve with the Emir and the NSA, we take solace in the exemplary life she led and the giants she raised for our state and nation.”
The funeral rites, held in accordance with Islamic tradition, saw a massive gathering of mourners, including high-ranking government officials security chiefs, and traditional rulers from across the North-East.
