Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has faulted Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State’s inability to control the state Assembly.
Olayinka hinted that the inability of Fubara to control the Rivers State Assembly shows that he is not a better leader.
Fubara is currently facing an impeachment procedure by the state Assembly over misappropriation of funds.
The governor’s impeachment is part of the renewed heightened political crisis in the state.
However, Olayinka said Fubara should look for and greet whoever is controlling the assembly.
Posting on Facebook, Olayinka wrote: “As a governor, if someone else is controlling your State House of Assembly members and you are unable to get just one of them to your side after close to 3 years, it means that person is a better leader and politician than you.
“Go to the person, raise your two hands, raise your right leg and say TWALE Sir, Ko ju bee lo.”
