IAWPA Appoints Amb. Maulud As North-East Coordinator

The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) has announced the appointment of Amb. Usman Maulud as its North-East Coordinator.

A statement issued to journalists by the International Spokesman of IAWPA, Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke, said the strategic appointment was a testament to Amb. Dr. Maulud’s unwavering commitment to promoting peace and sustainable development in his home state of Taraba and the entire North-East region. He further said Jalingo, Taraba State capital, has been selected as the North-East regional headquarters of the association.

“IAWPA’s decision underscores its resolve to make a strong impact in the North East, which has suffered greatly from insurgency over the years. As Coordinator, Amb. Maulud is expected to leverage his expertise and network to drive IAWPA’s initiatives, fostering peace, justice, and development in the region.

“Amb. Maulud’s appointment reinforces IAWPA’s mission to empower communities and promote sustainable development,” Amb. Nkweke stated.

Born in Jalingo, Taraba State, Amb. Usman Maulud holds a PhD in Political Science. He retired as an Assistant Director at the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM). He is also a chartered mediator who has worked tirelessly to promote peace within communities over the years.
