Former Chelsea player, Marcel Desailly, has warned Arsenal to be very careful as they try to win the Premier League title under Mikel Arteta.
The warning came ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Manchester United in the Premier League this weekend.
He said the Gunners cannot afford to lose focus in their push for the Premier League title this season.
The Chelsea legend wants Mikel Arteta to prioritise the league, with the UEFA Champions League and domestic cup competitions coming second.
He told Card Players: “Arsenal should be careful not to get too distracted by the Champions League or other domestic competitions like the FA Cup.
“They can’t afford to lose any important games that might really hurt their progress, like their game this weekend against Manchester United.”
Arsenal are currently leading the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League this season. However, the situation can change each week.
