Famous American rapper, A$AP Rocky has said he believes his Canadian counterpart, Drake’s beef with him is over his partner, Rihanna, which the ‘One Dance’ crooner once dated.
Drake and Rihanna had an on-and-off relationship from 2009 to 2016. Rihanna and Rocky reportedly started dating after her split from billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel in January 2020, and have since welcomed three children together.
Since Rocky and Rihanna’s romance became public, relationship between the rapper and Drake, who admitted that he regret not having a “fairytale” with the billionaire singer, has strained.
Addressing their rumoured feud during an interview with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, Rocky said the feud is petty because it is over women and not a real hip-hop beef.
He lamented that instead of moving on, Drake decided to pick a petty beef with him.
“You are supposed to be moving on. For you to be picking out on females, that is soft to me,” Rocky added.
