Dangote Refinery Reduces Petrol Price to N820 Per Litre

Published:

Dangote Refinery has announced a further reduction in the price of petrol, bringing it down to N820 per litre from the previous N840 per litre.

This new price was disclosed through the refinery’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday and took effect on the same day, July 8, 2025.

This is the second price cut by Dangote Refinery in a short period, following its reduction of ex-depot petrol price to N840 on July 1st.

The earlier price reduction had prompted the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Limited) to adjust its retail petrol price in Abuja to N910 per litre. Similarly, MRS filling station, a retail partner of Dangote Refinery, recently lowered its petrol price to N905 per litre in Abuja and N895 per litre in Lagos State.
