Blackburn Rovers defender Ryan Alebiosu could be set for a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, DAILY POST reports.
Alebiosu sustained the injury in Blackburn Rovers’ defeat to Hull City on Saturday.
The Nigeria international came off at half time.
It’s the latest setback for the right-back, who sustained a leg injury while in action for Nigeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations last month.
Rovers head coach Valerin Ismael is hopeful he will not be sidelined for a lengthy spell.
“He (Alebiosu) has a hamstring problem so we need to assess him. Hopefully he’s not that bad,” Ismael said.
