Burna Boy Drops NEW Album! HUGE International Features Revealed – But Where Are The Nigerian Stars?!

Published:

Burna Boy’s latest 16-track project, “No Sign of Weakness,” released via Spaceship Records, Bad Habit, and Atlantic Records, arrived in the early hours of Friday, July 11. The album presents a genre-blending mix of Afrobeats, rock, country, and R&B influences.

The album includes previously released singles such as “Bundle by Bundle,” “Update,” “Sweet Love,” “TaTaTa” featuring American rapper Travis Scott, and “Change Your Mind” with Nigerian-American country star Shaboozey.

It also boasts high-profile collaborations, notably featuring Rolling Stones founder Mick Jagger on “Empty Chairs” and Belgian-Rwandan pop icon Stromae on “Pardon.” Aside from Shaboozey, the “No Sign of Weakness” album does not feature any other Nigerian stars.

In an interview with Billboard France, the Port Harcourt-born artist described the album as “extrospective.” “It’s not just about me. It’s about growth, understanding, and challenging perceptions while staying true to who I am,” he said.

Burna Boy also revealed that the album’s title, with an overarching theme of resilience, speaks to his survival through difficult periods. “Despite everything that could have ended me, I’ve never shown weakness,” the 33-year-old stated.
