Barcelona thrashed Athletic Bilbao 5-0 on Wednesday night in the first semifinal of the Spanish Super Cup holding in Saudi Arabia.
The 15-time winners scored four goals in 16 minutes to put the game beyond doubt at half-time.
Ferran Torres broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute with a close-range finish, and Fermin López soon followed by blasting a shot into the top corner.

Roony Bardghji then saw his powerful effort slip through the grasp of Athletic Club goalkeeper Unai Simón, before Raphinha smashed the ball into the roof of the net to put Barcelona firmly in control by the 38th minute.
The Brazilian winger added his second shortly after the break, making it 5–0 just four minutes into the second half as Simón was left with no chance.
The final will take place on Sunday in Jeddah. Barcelona will face either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid, who play in the second semifinal clash on Thursday.
