Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has publicly cautioned her estranged husband, popular hypeman Fisayo Olagunju, also known as MC Fish, urging him to stop drawing her into social media disputes following the collapse of their marriage.
Her reaction came shortly after MC Fish took to Instagram to address widespread criticism and clarify his role in their union, particularly concerning his profession and financial contributions.
In a series of Instagram Story posts on Saturday, MC Fish claimed that Anita Joseph had initiated their relationship and “wooed” him, adding that their conversations eventually led to marriage.
He also pushed back strongly against claims that he depended financially on the actress, stating that he has worked as an MC and hype man for more than 15 years and has consistently earned his own income.

MC Fish further rejected allegations that Anita singlehandedly shouldered the financial responsibilities during their five-year marriage, insisting that he contributed significantly and worked hard for his money.
Defending his profession, he noted that hypemen are often criticised online but remain in high demand for social events and parties. He added that if his career truly lacked prospects, Anita would not have agreed to marry him.
In response, Anita Joseph issued a pointed message on her Instagram page, distancing herself from the online drama and making it clear she wants no public confrontation.
“Memo to my Ex. I don’t want to run in the mud with you,” she wrote, adding that the new year represents growth and positivity for her. She concluded by urging MC Fish to stop dragging her into his issues and to let her move on with her life.
