“I formally notify the Senate of my decision to withdraw from the PDP and align with the APC,” one letter stated.

The senators said the decision followed “deep reflection, consultations with constituents, and assessment of political realities and developmental aspirations.”

They urged the Senate to reflect their defections in its records in line with parliamentary procedures and legislative rules.

In his remark, the Senate Chief Whip, Mohammed Monguno, said the APC had transformed Nigeria’s political and developmental landscape.
