The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has denied reports claiming that it has appointed, or is about to inaugurate, a South West chairman.
In a post shared on X, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, said the information being circulated is untrue.
“This is to inform the general public that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has not appointed any South West Chairman,” Abdullahi said.
He also made it clear that the party is not planning to inaugurate anyone into such a position at this time.
“Furthermore, the ADC is not inaugurating any South West Chairman at this time,” he added.
Abdullahi advised members of the public to exercise caution and not to believe or act on claims suggesting otherwise, stressing that such reports do not reflect the position of the party.
