Ex-Man Utd manager, Ruud Van Nistelrooy gets new coaching job

Former Manchester United caretaker manager, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, has landed a new coaching job.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the 49-year-old Dutchman has signed his contract to be part of the Dutch national team’s coaching staff from February 1.

This means Van Nistelrooy will join head coach Ronald Koeman as an assistant coach in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, taking place in the summer.

Van Nistelrooy was a former Netherlands international who played as a striker.

He also played for clubs like Malaga, Real Madrid, PSV Eindhoven, Hamburger and Manchester United during his playing days as a professional footballer.

In his managerial career so far, Van Nistelrooy managed Leicester City, PSV and Man United in the past.
