The Nigerian currency, the naira, gained N1.80 against the American dollar at the official window on Tuesday.
At the official window, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data showed that the naira closed at N1,419.65/$1, compared to N1,421.45/$1 it traded on Monday.
However, at the black market, the local currency closed flat against the American greenback to tradie at N1,495/$1.

The naira also closed flat against the British Pound and Canadian dollar to trade at N2,020/£1 and N1,130/CA$1, respectively.
It lost N5 against the Euro to trade at ₦1,730/€1, as against the previous day’s rate of ₦1,725/€1.
