The Jigawa State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has charged the new cadet officers of the force to be good ambassadors in the discharge of their duties.
This was contained in a statement issued to DAILY POST and signed by the command ‘s Police Public Relations Officer, SP. Shiisu Lawan Adam.
The statement quoted state commissioner of police, CP. Dahiru Muhammad who made the call when he welcomed twenty-nine (29) newly passed-out Cadet Officers from Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil Kano. The officers were posted to the command headquarters in Dutse.
The CP congratulated the officers on the successful completion of their training and charged them to uphold discipline, professionalism, integrity, and respect for human rights in the discharge of their duties.
He further warned them to embrace teamwork, intelligence-led policing, and community engagement, assuring them of the command’s support while encouraging them to be worthy ambassadors of the Nigeria Police Force.
The CP said the officers will be posted to various divisions within the area to augment the existing manpower of the divisions.
He said the command remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of the citizens and urged them to avail the security agencies with credible and actionable intelligence that will assist them in the fight against crimes and criminality across the state.
