Sabinus defends Peller after Jarvis break-up

Published:

Popular Nigerian comedian Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, better known as Sabinus, has spoken out in defence of TikTok star Peller following his highly publicised breakup with fellow influencer Jarvis in December 2025.

Reacting to the controversy during a live session with Sandra Benede, Sabinus urged the public to show restraint and empathy, insisting that emotional pain can push people into costly decisions.

The comedian drew parallels with his own past, revealing that he once bought an ex-girlfriend a Range Rover purely out of love—a decision he described as a painful lesson about relationships.

According to Sabinus, Peller’s emotional state should not be trivialised, noting that the influencer was deeply affected by the breakup. He added that criticism of Peller ignores the emotional weight of heartbreak, especially for young people navigating relationships in the public eye.

“Jarvis has finished Peller. I’ve been in that situation before,” Sabinus said. “Love is a bad thing. I gifted a girl a Range Rover because of love, so nobody should blame Peller.”

His comments come weeks after Peller was involved in a car crash in December 2025, when his Mercedes-Benz was damaged during a period of emotional distress reportedly linked to the breakup.
