The monarch described the occasion as a personal milestone. “Today is a great day for me, a day of honour. I am privileged to be here and to be part of the university family,” he said.

He also commended those who support education in Nigeria, including businessman Muhammadu Indimi. “Your simplicity, dedication, and tenacity in supporting education deserve a resounding round of applause. Please continue to give reason for celebration,” he said.

The Ooni expressed gratitude to Governor Babagana Zulum, saying: “I want to thank His Excellency Professor Zulum and the founder for inviting me and bringing me on board. I assure you I will add value and will not disappoint.”

Governor Zulum conducted the installation, describing it as a historic moment for the university.
