The United States has said that Iran does not have a navy or navy leader at the moment.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth made this statement on Thursday during President Donald Trump’s first cabinet meeting since the beginning of the US-Iran war.
Hegseth stated that this is not an endless war, noting that it is a decisive campaign with clear objectives to destroy Iran’s military capabilities and ensure they never acquire a nuclear weapon”
He described the war as a stuff for the history books and pure American success, stressing that the United States is ahead of pace in its mission.
“Iran now has no navy, no navy leader and the United States’ use of slower, low-flying aircraft is proof it has no air defences left,” Hegseth said.
According to him, the US prays for a peace deal and welcomes any agreement with Iran, adding that war is negotiation by other means.
