Arewa Youths have called on all presidential aspirants in the 2027 general elections to prioritize the welfare of the Northern Nigeria.
President of the group, Abdul Danbature, who made this call, claimed that Northern youths decide who becomes the President of Nigeria, stating that they would no longer collect noodles and rice for votes.
His remark is coming as the 2027 general elections get closer.
“We the Northern Nigerian youth are the determining factor of any president in this country. We are the ones that decide who wins the presidency.
“To all 2027 presidential candidates, in a few months time, Northern youths will come out in masses to endorse our candidate.
“So you should not take Northern Nigeria for granted. At this point, we will not accept rice or indomie.
“All we need is that any presidential candidate that wants another Nigerian should vote for him should be aware that we also need the dredging of River Niger and River Benue. We also need seaport in northern Nigeria to ease our own unemployment problem in the north,” Danbature said.
