American Actor Orlando Bloom has listed his beachfront home in Malibu, California, where he lived for more than 10 years, for $12 million. The Lord of the Rings star first bought the home in 2011, when he was married to Miranda Kerr, but the pair went their separate ways in 2013.
The home boasts four bedrooms and five bathrooms and was on sale for $2.5 million in 2011, according to property records.
In a chat with The Wall Street Journal, Bloom agreed that he was reluctant to part with the home, but he had not lived there for many years and decided to rent it out last year.
“It felt like it might be the right time to let it go,” he told the organisation, disclosing he now lives further north in California.
The property is also where the actor’s son, Flynn, 15, whom he shares with Kerr, lived his early years, he revealed. Bloom also shares daughter Daisy Dove, 5 with ex Katy Perry.
Bloom made wide-ranging renovations to the residence while he was there, telling WSJ that the whole transformation cost over twice the amount he initially paid for it.
