Sarkin Seeks Hausa Youths Inclusion In Kwara’s Skill Acquisition Schemes

The Sarkin Samarin Hausawa of Kwara State, Alhaji Yahaya Uba has appealed to the Kwara State government to include Hausa youths resident in the state in its skills acquisition schemes to make them self-reliant.

Uba made the appeal during a chat with LEADERSHIP in Ilorin, the state capital.

He claimed that the government had not been including Hausa youths in its programmes.

“Considering the population of Hausa residents and their contributions to the development of the state there is the need for the state government to support them,” he said.

Uba insisted that the Hausa youth deserved assistance from the state government in form of empowerment to enable them grow their vocations and businesses.

He, however, assured the government of the continued support of the Hausa residents.
