United States President, Donald Trump has dismissed any possibility of a diplomatic resolution with Iran, insisting that the only outcome he will accept is “unconditional surrender”.
Taking to his Truth Social media account on Friday, Trump said there will be no deal with Iran except “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”
The US leader also underscored the commitment of the US and its allies to diligently work towards restoring stability in Iran once a new and acceptable leader has been identified.
Recall that following the recent U.S.-Israeli strikes that resulted in the death of Iran’s supreme leader, Trump made it clear he wishes to influence the selection of the next leader.
He also playfully referenced his own campaign slogan, urging, “LET’S MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN.”
