The presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 election, Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Monday assured his supporters he would make decisions that serve their collective interest.
In a statement issued in Kano, the former Kano governor expressed gratitude to his loyal base, particularly his “social media family,” for their steadfast support.
“I extend my deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to our vibrant social media family, loyal supporters, and all well-wishers who continue to stand firmly by our noble cause,” he stated.
He praised their resilience and dedication to the ideals of service, integrity, and people-centered progress.

“Your unwavering dedication… together with your remarkable patience amid every challenge and tribulation, is the very foundation upon which the promising future of our movement is being built,” he added.
Kwankwaso assured supporters that his decisions would prioritize their welfare, especially the youth. “Rest assured, we shall remain steadfast in our duty to serve, making decisions that uplift and benefit our entire people, with special focus and priority on our loyal youth,” he stated.
With the 2027 elections approaching, Kwankwaso has hinted at possible alliances with either the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) or the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Reports suggest he is already in talks with ADC leaders and may announce his position soon.
